An informative and navigable intranet system is an involving, inspiring and motivational tool

An act of exchange, correspondence and identification: this is how in-house communication is viewed in Energias de Portugal (EDP), a group that is present in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, the United States, Poland, Romania, Belgium, France, Scotland and Italy. The intranet is our first step towards a group culture and an excellent means of in-house communication in a company that strives for different cultures and ways of doing things, planning and achieving – in other words, various ways of being the same company. One click on the computer browser is the same as entering, with no short cuts, the EDP world. A homepage common to all the group’s geographies ensures access to each company’s intranet and also offers a glance through the group’s news and information on the more important transversal projects. Also only a click away is access to edpON, the digital version of the group’s corporate television, which accompanies, through images, EDP’s life and its most important moments.
