Embracing the role of global citizen

Being a global corporate citizen also means researching and developing innovations to solve some of the most pressing issues facing our world.

According to a World Health Organisation and UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme in 2014, 2.4 billion people, or a third of the world’s population, do not have access to proper sanitation. On a global basis, there are more people today in the world with access to a mobile phone than have access to proper sanitation. In fact, one billion people still practice open defecation on a daily basis.
