The audio platform has been around for over 10 years yet companies are only beginning to pay attention to how they can utilise podcasting to communicate brand stories and industry expertise.

Meet the host

Russell Goldsmith, Founder, Audere Communications

Russell Goldsmith is the founder of marketing consultancy Audere Communications and director of Conversis Corporate, a translation and localisation agency. He had previously spent 16 years as digital and social media director of broadcast communications specialists markettiers4dc. He is currently producing a series of podcasts aimed at the C-suite on the use of social media for corporate marketing and PR and the latest show can be listened to and downloaded from iTunes and Soundcloud.

Tom Ollerton, Marketing and Innovation Manager, We Are Social

Tom Ollerton is marketing and innovation manager at We Are Social. He drives marketing at the agency which has represented brands such as adidas, Heinz, Unilever, Heineken, eBay, Intel and Expedia. Additionally he works to ensure the agency is experimenting with original technology and social thinking to produce consistent innovative work for clients. He is a co-host of The Innovation Ramble, a weekly podcast exploring the world of innovation one subject at a time.

 

Alastair Cole, Chief Innovation Officer, Andrews Aldridge

Alastair Cole is chief innovation officer and product business unit lead at Andrews Aldridge and a partner at Engine Group. He works to drive innovation in customer engagement and leading new product development at Andrews Aldridge. Cole was previously a partner and head of creative services practice at Essence. He is a co-founder and co-hosts alongside Ollerton The Innovation Ramble.

 

Neville Hobson, Co-founder of the FIR Podcast Network

Neville Hobson is co-founder of the podcast For Immediate Release: The Hobson and Holtz Report. This was a weekly show he presented from January 2005 to September 2015 at the intersection of online communication and public relations. Since 2014 Hobson has been working with global enterprise software vendor IFS to support their digital corporate marketing strategy. He was previously head of social media in Europe for WCG and vice president at crayon.
