Then join Danske Bank as Head of MarCom in Corporates & Institutions (C&I), which delivers financial services to large corporate and institutional customers in the Nordic region. This is an opportunity to collaborate closely with senior management in a large and international business unit with an ambitious change agenda.
Your role will be to lead a small autonomous Copenhagen-based team characterized by high ambition and a strong focus on execution and supporting the many business areas across C&I. You will be part of Danske Bank’s management team in Corporate & Institutions and the management team in Danske Bank Group MarCom.
Internal communications and issues management
You will be responsible for executing on our communications strategy. This involves driving the continued development of all communication activities – with a dual focus on ensuring the appropriate strategic direction and contributing to day-to-day deliveries in your team.
Your key priorities lie within internal communication and will include change communication, leadership communication and advisory to senior management in Corporates & Institutions on a range of communication initiatives. As for the external communication you will play a key role in issues management, identifying the good stories for potential media activities and the overall positioning of Corporates & Institutions towards customers in particular.
Set strategic direction for C&I marketing activities
You will be setting strategic direction for go-to-market plans for activities and the execution of these. This involves driving the development of market- and customer-focused marketing plans and consistent execution of those plans in the markets. You will also be responsible for developing a strong approach for and execution on digital channels and social media.
Solid communication experience
You have a university degree and extensive communications experience, preferably combined with btb marketing experience. You have business acumen and have built your competencies from the financial industry, professional services, IT/telecom, utility services or other regulated service industries or as an external consultant. You have solid management experience, including a strong ability to lead and motivate people. Ideally, you have experience from working in an international corporation and have extensive experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior management, and with stakeholder management.
On a more personal level, you have the drive to deliver high-quality and effective marketing and communication initiatives, and you are able to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders at all levels. You are fluent in English and Danish. Knowledge of the other Scandinavian languages is an advantage.
