French RepublicNissan hires Up Communications CEO

Nissan has appointed Stuart Jackson, CEO of Up Communications and former communication director of phone companies EE and Orange, as vice-president of communications for Europe.

Jackson starts in his role on October 1 and will be based at Nissan Europe SAS in Montigny, France, reporting to Nissan Europe chairman Paul Willcox. He will also work directly with Nissan’s newly appointed global vice-president of communications, Jonathan Adashek.

He replaces Matthew de la Haye, who left the company in April.

In his new role, Jackson will handle corporate, consumer and internal communications across the region, looking after eight countries including Russia. He will continue as a non-executive director at Up, the agency he co-founded in 2014.
