German dairy company DMK Group has announced the appointment of Oliver Bartelt as its new head of corporate communications, replacing Hermann Cordes, who will be responsible for DMK’s public affairs.
Bartelt has almost 20 years of experience in different consumer good sectors. Prior to this appointment, he has been working at brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he has been responsible for the company’s communication since 2008.
In his new role, Bartelt will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of external and internal communication measures, together with a team of nine others.
With 25 locations and around 7,200 employees, the DMK GROUP is Germany’s largest dairy company, obtaining its raw milk from more than 8,600 active dairy farmers. The cooperative-based company headquartered in Zeven, Lower Saxony, processed around 7.3 billion kilos of milk in the year under review to make internationally recognised quality products for retailers, food manufacturers and bulk consumers.
