Change from within

When light manufacturer Osram decided to take the plunge and push for independence from Siemens, intensive internal communications were harnessed to generate excitement and push the process forward.

Monday, 8 July 2013, marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Osram. On that day, the company, originally founded in 1919 through the merger of German Auer-Gesellschaft together with AEG and Siemens & Halske, gained its entrepreneurial independence by going public as Osram GmbH & KG.
