While loved and loathed in equal measure, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is firmly back on the agenda. And big! As long ago as 2001, US companies were estimated to be spending 9 billion US dollars on their social responsibility activities. In the capital markets, Socially Responsible Funds (SRI) are attracting significant sums with an estimate of over 2 trillion US dollars invested in SRI funds in the US alone at the start of 2006.
