HU: MOL Group announces new Comms Vice President

MOL Group, the Budapest based multinational Oil and Gas Company has announced that Dominic Köfner has joined the team as Corporate Communications Vice President. The appointment is effective as of 1 May 2013.

 
Prior joining MOL Group Dominic occupied various key positions in Corporate Communications. From 2010 to 2012 he was responsible for Corporate Communications and Spokesperson for Hypo Alpe Adria Group implementing a change communications process in ten countries. Before he was Head of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations for MAGNAT Real Estate AG. During his professional career Mr. Köfner spent seven years at Brunswick Group LLP as a consultant for international communications.  Mr. Köfner holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Economics from J.W. Goethe University, Frankfurt and is an alumnus from University of Wales Swansea, United Kingdom. He also acquired the degree of a Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

 
Köfner will be responsible for MOL Group’s strategic communications, public relations, internal communications, corporate responsibility and corporate branding, and for the supervision of all MOL Group member companies’ Corporate Communications activities.  He takes over the position from Dóra Somlyai, who joined MOL Group in 2007 as Head of Corporate Communications for Hungary and was appointed in January of 2010 to the position of Vice President for Corporate Communications.
