Kingdom of SwedenStefan Nerpin swaps DNV for Volvo

Stefan Nerpin has left DNV GL Group in Norway and has now returned to his native Sweden as a senior VP at Volvo Bus Corporation.

He leads the global communications and public affairs team to position Volvo Buses' value proposition across their markets, engage key stakeholders and contribute to drive customer loyalty and brand perception, electromobility transformation, company culture and employee engagement. His earlier roles include time with global certification and risk management company DNV GL Group, energy company Vattenfall, bank and finance group SEB and at express transport company TNT.

His background has included roles such as director and senior advisor at global communications firm Burson-Marsteller, at marketing agency Sandberg Trygg, market and media research group Nielsen Co. and at own boutique strategy advisory Vengine Partners. 

Volvo Buses is a subsidiary and a business area of the Swedish vehicle maker Volvo, which became an independent division in 1968. It is based in Gothenburg.
