Marie-France van der Valk was appointed European affairs director in the public affairs department of Renault in 2010. Based in Brussels, she is in charge of promoting the interests of both Renault and Nissan to the European institutions on all issues linked with the car industry. Marie-France joined Renault in 1996 in the legal department and spent four years in the manufacturing department in charge of industrial performance for assembly plants. Previously, she worked for the OECD (Nuclear Energy Agency) and for the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
