Christine Jähn has been announced as the new Head of Corporate Communications at UKE (The University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf or Universitätsklinikums Hamburg-Eppendorf in German).
Previously a trained journalist (including TIME Online) before joing UKE in the summer of 2008. She became Deputy Spokeswoman for the company and then Deputy Department Head in 2010.
UKE is the teaching hospital of the University of Hamburg and one of the largest hospitals in Hamburg, Germany. It has 1460 beds and 121 day-care places and is listed to provide the capacity to dispatch emergency medical services.
